A social butterfly who hardly lands, Naeuri Kusuri is an oxymoron of a friendly loner. His social net is cast long and wide from his work as a botanist, and while he may be fully aware (perhaps too aware) of others' troubles, he's less than keen on sharing his own. While many may know Kusuri, few understand him and the depths of his rather complicated heart.Cheerful, Kusuri has a perpetual pep in his step with hardly a moment's beat of sadness. Some refer to him as sunshine incarnate, while others call him "loud and annoying." He upholds both to be true; his insistence on maintaining positivity in the face of animosity is his greatest strength. He has long-accepted his role of being the "comedic relief" among others, playing up his perceived foolishness to bring smiles to others' faces. However, with the right prompting, anyone can get Kusuri to babble brooks about his beloved daughter, mirror apples, moko grass, botany in general, and the like! ...Just be prepared to listen for awhile on these fruitful tangents.Kusuri tends to keep matters surface-level with himself - he is not wont to indulge on his true feelings on matters, nor is he one to babble about his past. Only those whom he trusts most are privy to the Kusuri beneath the smile - the person beneath the botanist's facade.

  • Kusuri oft prowls about on behalf of the Botanist Guild with his ever-present Mystery Crate filled to the brim with free fruits, lunchboxes, and fruit juice. Should you see him, he'll more than likely off you a snack (or six). If you've a special order, ask, and he'll put you on his list for next time! If you're just in need to chat, why, he'll lend a horn while giving you only the best apples a botanist can provide.

"Beg pardon? A problem with spirits?"

  • Be it within Western or Eastern shores, Kusuri sports a vested interest in the spiritual-realm. Curses, prayers, rituals - he has knowledge to some degree to help!

"Oh for the love of Kami - stop being stubborn and let me mend you, mm?"

  • A peculiar duo of an avid fighter and a gentle healer, Kusuri is suitable for any bending or mending bones needs! That being said, don't expect too much from a mere botanist, yes? Even if, ah, said-botanist a katana some suns, and bonks foes upon the head with a staff other suns. Truly nothing suspicious there!
